Cancellation Policy
Booking Terms and Conditions
1.Bookings
Your booking credit card details will be held by us for a period of 14 days after your departure date in a safe password protected system. If you did not use your credit card to book directly with Barossa Grand Retreats, we will ask you for your credit card details upon arrival.
You agree that we can use your credit card details to cover and be applied against any damages, replacements or cleaning in accordance with the terms and conditions below.
1.1Direct Bookings
Terms of Payment: Once you have made your booking, your credit card details will be stored in our booking system and 50% deposit (plus additional extras if ordered) will be processed within 24 hours with a receipt emailed to you. The remaining 50% of your payment will be processed 7 days prior to your arrival. Failure to pay by the due date may result in cancellation of your booking. Bookings made within 14 days of arrival will need to be paid in full at time of booking. If final payment is not made 7 days prior to the arrival date, we have the right to cancel the booking and attempt to re-let the property.
Cancellations: Cancellations notified more than 60 days prior to the arrival date are entitled to a full refund less a AUD150.00 administration fee. Cancellations notified 60 days or less and more than 30 days prior to the date booked will forfeit 50% of the total booking. Cancellations less than 30 days prior to arrival will not be entitled to a refund of monies paid. If you do not arrive and/or stay for the entire number of booked nights no refund will be given.
1.2Indirect Bookings (e.g. via Booking.com, Airbnb.com, etc)
All bookings made are subject to the specific booking platform's terms and conditions, including cancellation policy, outlined at the time of booking.

2.If we cancel or amend your booking
We would not expect to have to make any changes to your booking, but if we are unable to provide the use of the Barossa Grand Retreats’ property/(ies) that you have booked due to circumstances beyond our control, you agree that we will not be responsible for any costs, damages or expenses you may suffer or incur.
Should we need to make any amendments or cancellations, we will contact you as soon as reasonably practical and inform you of the cancellation or the change to your booking. Should we need to cancel your booking, we will refund any monies paid to us.
3.Your Obligations
Check-in and check-out
Check-in is from 2pm on the day of arrival. Check-out is at 11am on the day of departure. For late departures a fee of AUD150 per hour for any hour after the departure time will be charged to the credit card on file unless prior arrangements have been made.
4.Condition of Property
You agree to keep and leave any Barossa Grand Retreats’ property/(ies) where you have stayed, in the same condition as upon arrival. This includes all fixtures, furnishings, kitchen equipment, appliances, cookware, crockery, cutlery, glasses, bedding, electrical appliances, artwork, alfresco furniture etc. You also agree to leave the refrigerator, oven, washing machine and clothes dryer in the same condition as upon arrival.
You agree not to cause any damage to the walls, internal & external doors, carpets, timber floors, windows, property fences including pool fences, nor to cause anything that may reasonably be considered a nuisance or annoyance to us or any other occupier of adjoining or neighbouring properties.
Any issues with the contents at Barossa Grand Retreats’ properties must be reported to the Property Host immediately so that we are aware of any damage or breakages. Once notified, we will assess the situation and where possible we will endeavour to rectify the problem. You agree to allow us or any representative of ours access at any reasonable time during your stay for the purpose of essential repairs.
During your stay, any damage or additional cleaning will be charged to the holder of the booking credit card.
5.Additional Guests
You are not permitted to have more people to stay at the Barossa Grand Retreats’ property/(ies) that you have booked other than the number of people specified on your original booking notification.
6.Parties and Event
You are not permitted to hold any functions, events, parties or wedding related activities on the property without prior approval from Barossa Grand Retreats’ management. Charges will apply for the additional people on the property and any additional cleaning costs. You are responsible for all visitors and guests you allow onto any Barossa Grand Retreats’ properties and for any damages or loss they may cause.
7.Smoking
Smoking is not permitted inside of any Barossa Grand Retreats’ properties, if there is evidence of smoking inside the accommodation buildings you will be charged with an additional cleaning cost for a specialised clean to remove odours.
Smoking is permitted outside within the confines of the paved or gravel areas of the properties. Please remove all butts before departure otherwise additional cleaning costs will apply.
8.Pets
We are sorry, but pets are not allowed on any Barossa Grand Retreats’ properties due to the bespoke nature of the properties and the surrounding wildlife.
9.Lost Property
We take no responsibility for your personal belongings. If we locate any personal belongings left behind at the property, we will notify you and hold the item for a period of 30 days. If you do not collect them or arrange for them to be sent to you, we can dispose of the items after 30 days. The cost of any postage for items that need to be sent to you will be incurred by you.
10.General
You agree to take all necessary steps to safeguard your personal property. No liability to you is accepted in respect of damage to or loss of such property, except where the damage or loss is caused by our negligence.
We are not liable for any injury or loss that you or any of your invited guests may sustain while you are staying at any Barossa Grand Retreats’ properties.
Children must, at all times, be supervised by a responsible adult. The responsibility for the safety and care of children during your stay will be that of the parents or guardians and not Barossa Grand Retreats’.
Strictly no glass is allowed in the swimming pool area at the Gawler Park Estate property.
We ask that you leave the property clean, tidy, dishes cleaned and packed away, food removed from the refrigerator and garbage placed into the appropriate outside rubbish bins. Please leave the property as you found it. Should you leave the property in a state that requires additional cleaning, this cost will be charged to the holder of the booking credit card.
