The cottage is surrounded by stunning farmland views & wildlife, perfect as a writers or artists retreat, romantic getaway, or as an escape from city life. While tucked away from town along Narone Creek Road, Applegums is still just minutes away from the historic village centre of Wollombi.

Cancellation Policy
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- No Smoking inside the house.
- A valid credit card number, expiry date and CCV number must be supplied prior to arrival for security purposes and a copy of your drivers licence.
- All breakages and damage must be paid for by the guest. The guest will be charged additional costs for cleaning if the property is left in an unsatisfactory condition.
- Full payment must be paid before arrival and the collection of keys.
- An agreed deposit amount of the total booking must be paid to secure the booking.
- Dates are transferable.
- Hunter Valley Escapes reserves the right to decline a booking without giving a reason.
- Hunter Valley Escapes reserves the right to charge a cleaning fee if the property is not left in a satisfactory condition.
- Details of the property will not be given until bookings are paid in full.
- Our community relies on tank water (rain) we request that you are mindful of your water usage.
- Our properties have septic tanks or compost toilets therefore do not flush sanitary or other unsuitable items.
- Our properties contain many of the owners personal effects and furnishings which are sentimental ... the properties have been furnished in their own unique way to add character and comfort for our guests ... we request that our properties are treated with care and respect.
- COVID19 : The guest must re-schedule their booking if they have cold or flu like symptons before arrival ... the guest must inform Hunter Valley Escapes if they get cold or flu like symptons during their stay.
- PET CLAUSE : If the property is pet friendly the guest must advise of the details of the pets when making the booking. There is an additional $50 cleaning fee when you bring your pooch to ‘pet friendly’ accommodation. The guest accepts full responsibility for their dogs on the property and will be solely liable for the loss and /or damage caused by their dog. Pets must not be left alone at the property. Guests must clean up after their pets before checking out. If there is an infestation of fleas and dog hair
everywhere in the house and on the furniture there will be an additional charge of $100.00
