Details
Learn the real story.
Litchfield National Park offers spectacular landscapes, fascinating pioneer heritage and a rich Aboriginal tradition. And all an easy day trip from Darwin.
You'll get the real story from Aboriginal guides with connections that go back a thousand generations.
\You'll learn from deep, personalised discussions with your guide and a very small tour group.
You'll be safe and comfortable in an air-conditioned LandCruiser 200 GXL.
You'll visit places away from the tourist trail, along rugged tracks that buses can't reach.
You'll exclusively visit beautiful, rainforest-lined Woolaning Spring on our family's private land.
You'll taste high-quality, freshly cooked local food; wild-caught barramundi, crocodile and kangaroo.
A 100% indigenous-owned company.
Northern Territory Indigenous Tours is a wholly indigenous-owned, locally-based business offering specialised interpretation of the natural and cultural environment from an Aboriginal viewpoint.
Owner and Aboriginal guide, Tess Atie, says:
‘I grew up where Litchfield National Park is now, travelling and camping with my family. I developed a great respect for my old people. They showed me all the fine details about the plants and animals on our country, and how to live properly there. Now I want to teach visitors about our beautiful country.’
'I love meeting people from other parts of the world. I really enjoy showing and teaching them about my family's beautiful country, and about Aboriginal life in the old days and today'.
