Ours is the only purpose-built backpackers resort offering cheap, high-quality backpacker and hostel accommodation within walking distance of Southbank, the Brisbane Convention Centre, and the City Centre.
Our rooms are air-conditioned, with their own ensuite, TV, fridge, phone, and balcony, and for your convenience we offer a mini-bus service to the Brisbane Transit Centre and Brisbane Airport.
Our friendly staff can assist you 24 hours a day and we welcome school and tour groups too!
Well-appointed, stylish and comfortable rooms for all our guests. Brisbane Backpacker has a range of rooms available, to suit all budgets and group sizes. Most rooms have Air Conditioning and all our rooms come equipped with fans for the sub-tropical Brisbane weather. All rooms have an ensuite and swipe card security.
All guests receive a key/passcard to access their room and the Resort at the time of check-in which they retain for the duration of their stay.
VIP Backpackers’ VIP cards are accepted and YHA members are welcomed.

Brisbane Backpackers’ Resort is centrally located in the beautiful, sub-tropical city of Brisbane, Australia. Our modern, friendly and spacious resort is uniquely positioned to make your visit to Brisbane a memorable, relaxing and fun time.
Located on the South Bank of the Central Business District, just a few minutes from the multi-cultural and cosmopolitan West End district with its cafes, bookshops and restaurants, we are a short walk from the central South Bank Parklands and the Central Business District.
Our Courtesy Bus runs hourly to the Roma St Transit Centre and CBD and is also available on demand for all arrivals. It is a free service, so hop on board!
Brisbane Backpackers’ Resort is also a short walk from the South Bank train station. The Brisbane City Council bus service routes 191 and 193 servicing Fairfield – City – Newstead stop a block from our door.
