Cancellation Policy
RESERVATIONS
Coast Byron Airport Transfers will not guarantee availability on any scheduled services unless an advanced booking and or payment has been made.
Internet bookings will be accepted up to 24 hours prior to departure.
Telephone bookings will be accepted up to 4 hours prior to departure if payment is made at the time of booking.
Agent Bookings as per the above conditions.
PAYMENT
All bookings are required to be paid in full prior to the day of the booking.
AMENDMENTS
A booking can be changed up to 24 hours prior to your original booking departure time & is subject to seat availability. To change your booking please phone 02 7255 5896.
DELAYS
In the event that your flight is delayed, we will wait as long as we possibly can (this will typically be up to 1 hour) or reschedule for a later time if we are available. Unfortunately, we cannot disrupt the rest of our scheduled bookings for the day due to a delay of an earlier booking.
If your flight is delayed by more than 1 hour we will communicate with you as early as possible so you can organise another form of transport. We will also issue a 50% refund of your trip fare to soften the blow.
CANCELLATION / ALTERATION FEES
Less than 48 hours notice – 50% Cancellation Fee
Less than 24 hours notice – 100% Cancellation Fee
DEPARTURES
Passengers are required to be at the departure point 5-10 minutes prior to scheduled departures.
LUGGAGE/BAGGAGE
Includes all items which accompany passengers whilst travelling. Coast Byron Airport Transfers accepts no liability for lost, stolen or damaged luggage/baggage during transit or at pick up/drop off locations.
There is no additional cost for luggage or baggage except where items are considered excessive or beyond limits stated above.
Our vehicle can fit the following luggage combinations:
2 x small suitcases (55x36x24cm) + 3 x medium suitcases (68x47x32cm)
OR
2 x large suitcases (75x51x33cm) + 2 x small suitcases (55x36x24cm)
If you choose to bring excessive luggage we will try our best to fit everything in.
However, there is a chance someone will have to ride with a suitcase on their lap.

CONDUCT
Passengers are required to conduct themselves in a manner acceptable to normal community standards. Aggressive or disorderly conduct displayed toward any other passengers or staff will not be tolerated and passengers may be refused entry or required to disembark at any time during transit.
Any costs incurred to the passenger/s as a result of refusal to board or removal during transit will be the sole responsibility of the offending passenger/s.
DRUGS and ALCOHOL
Coast Byron Airport Transfers reserves the right to refuse entry or require a passenger to disembark at any time during transit if the passenger/s appear, in the opinion of Coast Byron Airport Transfers, to be intoxicated or under the influence of drugs.
Any costs incurred to the passenger/s as a result of refusal to board or removal during transit will be the sole responsibility of the offending passenger/s.
Consumption of alcohol and illegal drugs is not permitted in Coast Byron Airport Transfers vehicles.
Smoking is not permitted in Coast Byron Airport Transfers vehicles.
PASSENGERS WITH DISABILITIES/SPECIAL NEEDS
Passengers are required to advise Coast Byron Airport Transfers of any special needs including assistance with boarding/disembarking. We will, wherever possible, try to accommodate passengers' needs.
Any passenger that requires more than minimal assistance from the driver to board/disembark may be required to be accompanied by a carer. Any assistance from the driver is at the driver’s discretion to avoid injury to the driver.
Registered guide dogs are welcome to travel with their owner. Prior advice when booking is requested.
UNACCOMPANIED MINORS
Internet bookings will not be accepted for unaccompanied minors. A legal guardian must be present when boarding and disembarking and relevant contact details for both guardians is required prior to departure.
In the event that a legal guardian is not present at time of disembarking and contact with the legal guardian cannot be made, the unaccompanied minor will be transported to the nearest police station for their own safety and security. Coast Byron Airport Transfers will not accept responsibility for the care of an unaccompanied minor beyond disembarkation.
INFANTS
An infant under the age of 4 years old travels free and must be accompanied by an adult legal guardian. Infant capsules are available. Contact Coast Byron Airport Transfers for further information.
CONDITIONS OF TRAVEL
Passengers who have purchased a ticket must present a valid reservation number to the driver prior to boarding. Failure to present a ticket or reservation number may result in refusal to board.
All goods carried by passengers, either in the luggage trailer or on board are at the passengers own risk. Coast Byron Airport Transfers does not accept liability for goods lost, stolen or damaged either during transit or at drop off/pick up locations.
Passengers warrant that any luggage or other personal effects carried on board, either directly or indirectly, any damage or harm to other passengers, other passengers effects or cause damage to the property of Coast Byron Airport Transfers.
Coast Byron Airport Transfers reserves the right to refuse to carry any luggage or other personal effects without justification.
Coast Byron Airport Transfers will endeavour to honour its commitments relating to departure and arrival times but will not be liable in the event that times are unable to be met as a result of road, traffic, weather conditions or any other event that would reasonably cause a delay.
Coast Byron Airport Transfers will not be liable for any losses incurred as a result of delayed departure or arrival times or for delays relating to road, traffic, weather conditions or any other event that would reasonably cause a delay.
Coast Byron Airport Transfers reserves the right to vary schedules and prices without notice. Bookings made prior to any changes will be honoured and every endeavour will be made to notify passengers with valid bookings of changes to schedules.
Coast Byron Airport Transfers may refuse to allow any passenger to board or travel on any service where in the opinion of Coast Byron Airport Transfers that passenger is in breach of any of the terms and conditions listed.
