Our Country Farm Stay is all you need to relax after a day on the road. Our end of day sundowners or a cup of tea (hot or iced) and local cake can be provided on arrival while you stretch your legs and are greeted by baby animals or just our friendly local Aussie hosts. We aim to provide good accommodation at reasonable prices for the outback traveller looking for a unique stay.
Our beds are very comfortable and we can accommodate individual travellers, couples or groups of up to 15 people.
This is a unique opportunity during your travels to meet gentle farm animals, wildlife, and interact with local characters. Our thermal waters are 37 degrees in Winter, nightly campfires and a choice of takeaway foods or a range of meals and cappuccinos etc are popular.
We can also arrange a taste of local , Australian speciality and indigenous plant flavoured foods including beef, lamb, goat and ham processed by a local award winning butcher from a town nearby or, a range of plant based foods from our garden.
Sunset walks, and mini tours to learn about the history of the area or the environment of the surrounding grasslands are available (including information on the endangered Julia Creek Dunnart) and can include picnic lunches, drinks or morning tea - by prior arrangement.
Meeting the wild life we care for, and feeding baby animals is always enjoyed.

Our agritourism business is centered on the production of goat meat and free range eggs. We also have a vegetable and herb garden. All products are available for guests to purchase.

We are a tourism provider and have inhouse accommodation in the cottage guesthouse; camping sites powered and unpowered, offer geothermal artesian baths for guests, meals including breakfast (7.30-9am) and alacarte diners (served at 7 pm). We also have a cafe, art gallery and small retail store that opens between 10 am and 2 pm.

When required we have a wildlife rescue and refuge hub mainly for Joeys but sometimes injured birds.

Pets are welcome at Corella - however advance notice is preferred and we strictly require all pets to be caged on a lead at all times,

Directions

We are between Julia Creek and Richmond Qld.
If travelling from Julia Creek - travel 48 km East exactly. You will see a telephone sign and town sign for Nelia where you need to turn. Turn left and are only 2 (two) Kms on bitumen .. BEFORE ..the railway line.

If travelling from Richmond, then travel exactly 100kms to the West on the Flinders Highway (A6). You will see a telephone sign and town sign for Nelia where you need to turn. Turn right (North) onto Nelia Bunda Road. We are only 2 (two) Kms on bitumen .. BEFORE the railway line.

Our camping ground and cottage guesthouse is diagonally opposite the Brolga Sculptures.

All bookings are non refundable however dates can be adjusted and credit given for use within a 12 month period
