Every room showcases the dynamic activity of the great Southern Ocean, the wildlife and the magnificent rock formations unique to this location. Ettrick Rocks luxury coastal homes designed by award winning architects, seamlessly bridges the indoor space with the outside landscape using large double glazed windows. Every room frames the magnificent rock formations, the Great Southern Ocean and the wildlife abounding the property, as an artist does to a painting.
Stylish and spacious, there is comfortable seating throughout, a large chaise lounge, 5-star King Size beds, quality linen, pillows and soft coverings to keep you warm and cosy. A cantilevered comfortable bedroom window seat, projects one outward closer to nature to chill-out and be at peace with the beautiful landscape around you.
At early dawn fishing boats trawling their nets or pulling up lobster pots may be seen directly in line of the retreats. Binoculars supplied in each of the homes provide a closer glimpse of this activity and that of the sea eagles and other marine birds hovering or swooping for their catch.
King Island’s food produce is abundant, sought after and prized by chefs and connoisseurs from around the world. For coastal foragers the location gifts a variety of edible plants, delicious seaweed and crustaceans. Indulge your taste buds cooking delicious meals in a dream kitchen that is well equipped and stocked with essentials to get those creative juices into overdrive.
Nearby there are a number of walking tracks to explore, sandy and sheltered coves to swim or relax in and plenty of vantage points to capture that sought after photographic moment, that artistic seascape or that ideal catch of the day for the BBQ.
At dusk guests are amused by the wallabies gathering around the homes and captivated by the spectacular sunsets over the horizon. The evening sets in with the pulsing light of the lighthouse and the soothing sound of the ocean. Pure bliss!

COVID-19 related Cancellations
Confirmed bookings with Ettrick Rocks that require to be cancelled as a result of your travel to King Island being affected due to Federal or State Government imposed border restrictions we will refund all monies paid to us in full or reschedule your holiday at a more suitable date if available.
Cancellations other than COVID-19 related reasons the following terms apply:
(a)Requests to cancel or reschedule a booking to a new date you should contact Ettrick Rocks King Island Management by phone or email.
(b)We will reschedule the booking to a new date subject to availability of the Property. Additional fees may apply to accommodate the change depending on the extent of changes to be made which will not exceed $100.00.
(c)Additional fees may apply if the rate is higher for the new date.
(d)If the Property is available at the date at a lesser rate we will refund you the difference.
(e)If the Property is not available the Guest may re-book a different property and pay any increase in fees that apply to the Property. If the new Property is available at a cheaper rate we will refund you the difference.
(f)If the existing Property is not available and you do not wish to book an alternative property the cancellation policies below will apply.

Time of cancellation:
More than 30 days before arrival date -We will refund you all funds paid to us.
Within 30 and 8 days of arrival date - 1 night accommodation fee applies and security deposit retuned in full.
Within 7 days of the arrival date - 100% of total booking fee will be charged and security deposit returned in full.
We recommend guests to purchase travel insurance for any unforeseen circumstances that may affect their travel arrangements.
