Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctuary - Tour

The 5000 acre Hanson Bay wildlife sanctuary is the largest privately owned wildlife conservancy on Kangaroo Island. Sadly we experienced a major bushfire on 3/1/20. Nature simply hit the reset button on the landscape and it is now rapidly recovering. While we are rebuilding we will be open for prebooked guided tours only. All of the major species kangaroo, koala, tamar wallaby, cape barren goose and brush tail possum are still abundant. We are one of the best places in Australia to see a sustainable population of Koalas in the wild. Come on our TOUR to explore the many wonders of another world.
