All the wines you love from the Hope range including our famous 'Ripper' Shiraz are available for tasting and sales through our cellar door.

Visitors can enjoy a personalised tasting experience with our friendly and knowledgeable staff in the unforgettable and unique surrounds of this historic Hunter Valley site.

Hope Estate has extensive vineyards in three of Australia's premium wine regions, all of which are made at the Pokolbin Winery. Our wine is enjoyed around the world and has won many trophies at national and international wine shows. Our winery was awarded 4.5 stars in James Hallidays 2008 wine companion.

Hope Estate is committed to providing a memorable and unique wine and event experience. We offer 'behind the scenes' winery tours, tasting & talks by our winemaking team, hosted dinners and lunches and team building event with wine blending games. Our picturesque 420 acres is also available for field days or outdoor events. Spend an afternoon or evening jam packed with action combined with a greater appreciation and understanding of wine.

Functions and Events
The Great Cask Hall at Hope Estate is one of the most impressive Barrel Rooms in the Country built in the 1970's by Len Evans and Murray Tyrrell. It is one of the Hunter Valley's most popular function venues, catering up to 240 pax.
The Premium menu selection will be by Chez Pok Restaurant who feature fresh local produce to create dishes with unique tastes, flavour and textures to delight the palate. Chez pok has won numerous American Express Restaurant of the Year Awards, NSW Restaurant & catering Awards and is recognised in the Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide.
Perfectly located in the heart of the Pokolbin, The Great Cask Hall is set on 420 acres of rolling countryside and picturesque vinyards. Within Hope Estate we also have several other event rooms and our Winery Warehouse which can accomodate 1000 pax seated.

Wombat Cottage
Escape to 'Wombat Cottage' Our charming federation cottage is conveniently situated across the lake from the cellar door, nesstled amongst tranquil bush surroundings and only minutes to Pokolbin's award winning restaurants.
'Wombat Cottage' is fully self-contained, features a large lounge room with wood fire & air-conditioning. Perfect for groups up to 10, with full linen supplied.
