The historic home 'Palmerston' was built in 1911 and it has been restored in line with the architecture of the time, while offering all the luxury and comfort of a world-class retreat. The 7 spacious and beautifully restored suites feature king sized beds, antique furniture, ensuites and many other contemporary touches such as Spa Baths, Wireless Broadband and heated bathroom floor tiles will ensure your stay is perfect. Luxurious full sized spa baths are available in threee of the premium suites and we have two Romance Suites with claw foot baths.
Leisurely breakfasts in the beautifully restored drawing room overlooking the English gardens is a perfect beginning whilst relaxing in front of a roaring fire with an award winning wine in the Great Hall is a perfecting ending to your day. Evening meals are available for our in-house guests - bookings must be made by 4pm
A short stroll through the gardens will find you at Petersons Armidale Winery Cellar Door where you can sample Petersons award winning cool climate wines. The gardens provide the perfect environment for a cheese platter and a bottle of wine, and on weekends we are open for an ever changing, seasonally inspired menu featuring local produce where-ever possible. Bookings are essential.

Follow Kentucky Street past New England Regional Art Museum and turn left at Tourist Route 19. This road is Kennedy St/ Dangarsleigh Road, follow this for approximately 4km and the Guesthouse and Winery are located on the Left Hand Side
Cancellation Policy
1. Check in time is from 14:00 and check out time is 10:00am.
2. Cancellation policy – requires booking cancellations or changes to be notified to Petersons Armidale 48hrs before arrival day. Guests who have booked through third party website must contact these companies directly to make any cancellations or changes to their reservation.
3. Guest belongings & car parks – Guests are requested to lock the door of their room when leaving their accommodation or going to bed. Petersons takes no responsibility for loss and/or damage to the guests belongings. Car parking is available onsite and is strictly subject to availability. You agree to enter the car park at your own risk. Petersons Armidale does not accept any responsibility for damages or loss to your property or property belonging to someone else.
4. Pet Policy – No pets are permitted to be inside the accommodation and are not to be left on the property overnight. If found with a pet, you will be asked to remove the animal or leave the property. Service dogs are exempt from the pet policy.
5.Mandatory Age requirements – guest booking the accommodation must be 18 years old or over. Any guests under the age of 18 are considered minor and must be accompanied by responsible adults and act as the parent or legal guardian.
6.Smoking Policy – Smoking indoor areas & on verandahs is prohibited, including the use of e-cigarettes & vapes. Smoking is allowed outdoors away from other guests, please dispose of all cigarettes in ashtrays provided on the property.
7.Damage/Theft – the primary guest (guest registered on check-in) will be held responsible for any damages to their accommodation room and its contents. The primary guest will also be responsible for any damages caused within the hotel common areas. The primary guest is also responsible for any damage or theft caused by their guests or visitors.
