Queensland Helicopters was established in 1974 with its main base in Mt Isa servicing the mining and pastoral industries. In 1993 Queensland Helicopters moved its base to Longreach, hub of the Central West. In May 2022 Jamie and Mardi Bush took ownership of Queensland Helicopters adding Longreach base to their already established business based in Clermont. Queensland Helicopters core business is charter, aerial mustering, tourism and various types of aerial survey work.

Cancellation Policy
Check in: passengers must arrive 15min prior to departure time at Hangar 32, Landsborough Hwy Longreach 4730 for pre departure safety briefing.
Cancellations: No shows and reservations cancelled within 24 hours prior to departure will incur 100% cancellation fee and 12 hours 50% cancellation fee. This tour is subject to change or cancellation due to weather conditions at the discretion of the tour operator. Queensland Helicopters reserves the right to transfer guests to another helicopter where appropriate.
Flights may also be credited to another date with terms and conditions.
Covid Clues: Flights may be credited if cancellation is due to covid restrictions.
