Tranquility House is located on the highest point of the property and has a lovely view of William Bay and is one of the first things you see when you walk in the house. The open plan living / dining is a welcoming space where you can relax and gather with your family / friends to watch a movie, play a game, do a jig saw puzzle or just chat.
Leading off the dining area is a study area with a desk where you can work away from home if needed.
You can let nature work its invisible magic on you with some self guided forest bathing while you walk around the property.
The gardens are currently a work in progress and Phillip (Owner) often stays on the property (separate accommodation) to work on it.
THE BEDROOMS The main bedroom has a walk in robe and bathroom and all three can be closed off from the rest of the house. Bedroom 2 has twin single beds and Bedroom 3 has a king size bed. All rooms have a bed side table and lamp (for each bed or side of the bed). Bed 2 and 3 are located with easy access to the second bathroom, laundry and toilet. Each room has its own air conditioning unit and extra blankets and pillows.
THE KITCHEN The kitchen is very serviceable with an oven, stove top, dishwasher, Nespresso (Vertuo) coffee machine and large Fridge/Freezer.
THE LAUNDRY The laundry has a front loader washing machine and dryer that you are welcome to use. We supply washing powder, but if you have a personal preference you are free to bring your own. There is a washing line on the back veranda in case it rains and a washing line outside.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING? We recommend you bring boots or old sneakers that you don’t mind getting dirty and a water proof/water resistant spray jacket. Denmark gets a lot of rain, predominately in Winter and it can get quite muddy. Even if you are coming in Summer it isn’t unusual to have a shower or two, and from experience, it always comes in handy to have a spray jacket, even better if it has a hood.
Don’t forget to pack your bathers and beach towel too. We provide towels for showering but not for the beach.
GUEST ACCESS Walking around the property is one of our favourite things to do and again we recommend you bring boots or old sneakers (that you won’t mind getting dirty).
There is a large shed and a dam on the property, and whilst you are welcome to walk around and explore the property there is a gate/fence asking visitors not to enter the shed or walk near the dam.
Guest access The whole home is available to guests.
Other things to note The washing and drinking water on the property is sourced solely from rainwater and we do ask our guests to be waterwise.

Cancellation Policy
NO SMOKING – IN THE HOUSE OR ON THE PROPERTY.
Being on a rural property at certain times of the year the risk of fire is extremely high.
NO SHOES IN THE HOUSE
We have painstakingly laid all the hardwood floors in the house ourselves and we ask that you do not wear shoes inside the house.
NO PARTIES
We are located in a very quiet, tranquil setting and our neighbours are close by. We have a policy of no noise between 10pm and 8am. Parties and events are not allowed.
NO PETS ON THE PROPERTY
We are animal lovers ourselves, however we do not allow pets on the property.
There is native wildlife such as kangaroos and possums that we don’t want accidentally harmed or to cause harm to your fur baby. There are many different birds ranging from small finches to Owls and Eagles which also make it unsuitable for pets to be wandering around the property. The property has fencing, however it isn’t the kind of fencing that can keep a dog contained.
GUESTS / VISITORS
Our Holiday Home Planning Approval from the Shire of Denmark requires us to maintain a guest register and therefore we dont allow unregistered guests. At check in we will ask for a list of guest names from you.
