Waverley House cottages offer well designed, stylish 1 & 2 bedroom self catering cottages dotted among landscaped native gardens and mature gum trees. Our private retreat provides a peaceful oasis from everyday life and the perfect location to relax and explore the region. All cottages are self contained with full kitchen and laundry facilities, beautifully appointed living and dining areas, covered carports and shady verandahs. All are equipped with split heating/cooling systems and three also offer cosy woodfires. Guest facilities include 2 covered BBQ areas with outdoor settings, a solar heated pool and heated jacuzzi. Free WiFi to all cottages.

Owner/operators, Jan and Rob Davis designed and built Waverley House Cottages to cater for clients expecting quality accommodation in Lakes Entrance - stylish design and fittings, privacy and a spacious setting – inside and out, catering for couples and families. The property is within Lakes Entrance township, but boasts views, acreage, established trees and is close to golf courses, rail trail, bushwalks and the Ninety Mile Beach.

Rob's family has six generations of involvement with fishing and hospitality in Lakes Entrance and the name "Waverley House" recalls his grandparents’ guesthouse. In each cottage, an information booklet and photos illustrate local history as do cottage names. eg. Salmon Company and Fishpen.

The cottages are ideally located for touring this naturally magic region – day trips to the Alpine region, national parks or exploring the scenic Gippsland Lakes. The Ninety Mile beach is two minutes drive away or the many cafes and shops can be a tempting treat. Whatever your interest, the friendly hosts are happy to assist and are passionate about the many attractions of East Gippsland.

FROM MELBOURNE SIDE OF LAKES ENTRANCE - Follow the Princes Highway to Lakes Entrance. In Lakes Entrance turn LEFT at the traffic lights (Myer Street) and then RIGHT at the roundabout (Roadknight Street). Follow this road all the way to Waverley House Cottages. It changes name to Palmers Road at the bottom of the hill. We are the next gate on the left past the Lakes View Golf Course.
FROM SYDNEY SIDE OF LAKES ENTRANCE - Follow the Princes Highway to Lakes Entrance. In Lakes Entrance turn RIGHT at Eastern Beach Road and then RIGHT into Palmers Road at the bottom of the hill. We are the next gate on the left past the Lakes View Golf Course.

The closest train station to Lakes Entrance is Bairnsdale on the Gippsland line and V-Line has a bus service on to Lakes Entrance.

Cancellation Policy

Payment in full is required to secure the booking. (Booking is not confirmed until payment is processed)

Payment constitutes the clients acceptance of these terms and Conditions.

If Cancellation is caused by the client this payment is not refundable at Peak times unless the cottage/s is re-let for the entire period. At Off Peak times a refund may be made at the owners’ discretion if notified 7 days prior to booking commencement. All refunds incur a $30.00 Administration fee.
Refunds are not possible on ancillary bookings eg. hampers restaurant packages etc.

This self-catering property has a minimum two night stay requirement for all cottages.
Please adhere to stated maximum numbers of guests for each cottage type as failure to do so will result in cancellation of your stay with no refund.
